AMOS Shipdex Suite and AMOS kick off in Korea
An important seminar for the introduction and demonstration of AMOS2 and AMOS Business Suite took place at the Korea Maritime University (KMU) in Busan, on 25th January 2010, sponsored by KJ Radio (SpecTec’s new partner in Korea).
Introduced by Professor Gang-Gyoo Jin of the KMU, AMOS2 and Amos Shipdex Suite were presented for the first time at the Korean maritime professionals and university delegates of KMU.
Our CEO, Giampiero Soncini, with Mr. Lum Pui Lam (SpecTec Technical Engineer) showed the key functionalities of AMOS 2 new platform; while Marco Vatteroni (SpecTec ILS manager) illustrated the importance of standardization of data processing thanks to Shipdex Protocol and AMOS Shipdex Suite.
As demonstration of KMU interest, Mr. Young-Ho Yu (President /Outside Director of College of Engineering Department of Control & Instrumentation Engineering) just registered the “Advanced IT & Ship Convergence Center” to the Shipdex Protocol.
In fact, during his last European journey, Mr. Yu was received from Marco Vatteroni at SpecTec Group HO, in La Spezia, where they have discussed about technical details and potentialities of Shipdex Protocol and AMOS Shipdex Suite.
During the next weeks more partnership’s details will be agreed between KMU and Spectec Group.
