SpecTec awarded large contract by Polish Steamship Company

SpecTec AB, in close co-operation with SpecTec Poland, is proud to announce the signing of a contract to provide Polska Zegluga Morska (Polsteam) with AMOS M&P for 65 vessels and Office, with an optional expansion to 77 vessels. The Contract also includes Databases, Custom made reports and Customized training as well as an ERP interface.

We very much look forward to a good co-operation with Polsteam in this project, which is to start within the next couple of weeks.
Polsteam, the largest Polish ship-owner and one of the largest in Europe, operates 71 ships of total capacity 2.1 million dwt., including 63 bulk carriers, 4 sulphur carriers and 4 ferries. The company main activity profile is transporting bulk cargo, such as coal, grain, etc. on the global shipping market. The company is the world leader in the niche market for transporting liquid sulphur.
The capacity of liquid and bulk cargo carriers ranges between 11,700 dwt and 73,500 dwt, whereas ferries from 6860 dwt to 8870 dwt with over 21 million tons of cargoes transported annually.

At the moment, the company is involved in renewing its tonnage and plans to build 34 new bulk cargo carriers by 2015.
